MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

• 2+ years experience in computer based technologies

 

Essential Technical Skills

 

• Knowledge of network topologies, configuration and hardware ( TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, CAT5e, 6, 6a, T568a & b)

 

Operating Systems

 

• Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8. Windows 8.1, Mac OSX 10.X, Linux  (RHEL & SLES)

 

PC and Apple Hardware Knowledge

 

• Upgrades (memory, hard disk/SSD, graphics card)

• Maintenance (performance tuning, HDD defragmentation, HDD surface scan, defective block reporting).

 

Email and Cloud Technologies

 

• Ability to configure IMAP and POP email accounts.

• Knowledge of SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)

• Ability to configure iCloud and Gmail accounts, etc.

 

Security

• Knowledge of Viruses and Malware and disaster recovery solutions, such as Trojans, Worms

• Knowledge of Phishing Attacks and how to advise clients against them.

• Performing backups

• Performing a full system restore.

• Knowledge of Firewalls technologies

Home Automation and Audio Visual experience. RTI programming, RS232

 

• Email and Cloud Technologies

• Experience administrating:

• Active Directory

• Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/Office365.

• TLS/SSL encryption.
